We encourage you to see for yourself what makes The Teller House Hotel so unique. Each of our guest rooms is on the 2nd floor and features a view of the San Juan Mountains surrounding the hotel. All rooms are tastefully appointed with Victorian decor and antiques. And all that Silverton has to offer is just a few steps from our front door. We look forward to welcoming you!
Room 1 is a charming retreat featuring a queen bed and shared bathroom in the European style (spa robes provided for our guests). It overlooks Silverton's main boulevard against a breathtaking backdrop of the towering San Juans to the northwest. Like all Teller House rooms, it is tastefully furnished with antiques and Victorian decor, including a classic wood bedframe, cherub lamp, and lace window treatment.
Room 2, with northwest views of Silverton's main boulevard and impressive Anvil Mountain, is an airy and spacious room featuring two queen beds and a private bathroom. Ornate wood headboards give this room a truly classic Victorian feel that any family or friends traveling together will love.
Room 3 is a quiet and cozy retreat for a couple or single traveler. It features a queen bed with carved wood headboard, private bathroom, and southwest views of Grand Turk and Sultan Mountains (both over 13,000 feet high).
Room 6 is one of our largest, quietest, and most popular rooms. It features two queen beds, a hide-a-bed sofa, and private bathroom. This room's decor is a tribute to the dramatic winters of the San Juans and has lovely southeast views of 13,000 ft. Kendall Mountain, home to our local family ski area.
Room 7 is a wonderfully bright and cheery room featuring two double beds and a private bathroom. This spacious sun-filled has stunning northeast mountain views and delightful wrought-iron beds for the antique lover in you.
Room 8, our most festively colorful room, is perfect for the romantic couple or business traveler. It features a king bed and private bathroom, with northeast views of the San Juan Mountains and glimpses of our historic Town Hall and County Courthouse.
Room 9 is a large, open, and airy room with northwest views of Silverton's main boulevard and soaring peaks of the San Juans. This room has 2 queen beds, a hide-a-bed sofa, and private bathroom. Like all Teller House rooms, it is appointed with classic original woodwork and tasteful Victorian decor.
Room 10 is a bright and sunny room with views of Silverton's main boulevard, Anvil Mountain, and 13,000 ft. peaks to the northwest. It features a double bed and shared bath in the European style, with spa robes provided for our guests. The brass bed frame is one of our most whimsical examples of the Victorian period.
The Gathering Room is available for use by groups and can accomodate more than 20 people.
The Common Bathroom comfortably serves guests staying in Rooms #1 and #10. It has a separate private bath/shower area, a separate private commode, and spacious dressing area with antique sink, mirror, hair dryer, curling iron, etc.
